Purpose | The Turing Scheme is the UK government's own global programme to study and work abroad. It aims to support a 'Global Britain' by providing funding opportunities for UK organisations from the education, training and school sectors to enhance existing partnerships and to forge new international relationships, as well as offering their students life-changing experiences by studying or working in other countries across the world. The scheme promotes social mobility, providing equal access to all learners, regardless of background, and offers participants personal and academic development, career-building opportunities, and the soft skills valued by employers, helping bridge the gap between education and work. |
